What is the difference between "a tú" and "a ti"
Like for instance "yo quiero tú" is i want you/ love you etc.. And "y sin ti" is and without you, but I don't get when to use "ti" instead of "tú"

I believe that your confusion may be because in Spanish there are different translations of the word "you", depending on how the word is used in a sentence.
For example: "You are tall." Tú eres alto. In this case, the word "you" is the subject and is translated as "tú".
"I love you". Yo te quiero. In this case "you" is a direct object and is translated as "te". Indirect objects also use "te".
"I don't go without you". No voy sin ti. In this case "you" is the object of a preposition, and is translated as "ti".
Other examples of "ti" are: for you - para ti....in front of you - delante de ti...behind you - detrás de ti...

Yo quiero tú does not look correct to me.
Tú is a subject pronoun and would normally be used for that purpose, but it can be used as the object of a preposition in certain situations (with 6 prepositions like entre or incluso or when used with another pronoun with a preposition: (entre tú y yo).
As a direct object you would use the direct object pronoun te. Yo te quiero [a ti].
Ti is the object of the preposition pronoun normally. (sin ti). contigo, etc.
I thank both you for your help. I just didn't know what part of speech it was used for so I was confused on it. This helped a lot!
