How to make accent marks on flashcards

I would like to create some flashcards, but I don't know how to make the accent marks since I don't have a keyboard that has them. Is there any way to do this?

There are different ways of accomplishing this.

A good way if you are using a computer with windows is to change the keyboard setting to "United States International". Once you do this, an apostrophe followed by the letter gets it accented and alt-n gets you an ñ

There are posts on this topic.. you just need to do a search and people have posted other methods

That works in Mac and Linux, too. See my post above. - KevinB, Jan 17, 2012

Hi and welcome to the forum. You can copy and paste the words from a word list or the dictionary. That is one of the best ways to make a flashcard set. Then, you are sure that you have the correct words and the translation.

You could also use this box here to write your words and copy and paste them into a flashcard set.

Thank you so much for asking this question. So many sets do not have the correct accents.

Good luck with your Spanish

á é í ó ú ¿ ¡

is there a way to get accents for spanish on my computer

Thanks. It's a very good idea to copy and paste. I'm also going to check out the link from KevinB. - kdrinning, Jan 17, 2012
Here is an article from previous searches. Look at the Vikingo program.... - sanlee, Jan 17, 2012

This article tells you a very simple way to turn on the accent marks in your computer's operating system. Works great. It does the upside down ¡ and ¿ as well. It works for Windows, Mac and Linux.
