Sometimes 0 rep?

Probably asked many times before but why do I sometimes get 1 rep for voting up an answer and sometimes 0 rep?

Overall, there is a 200 rep limit.
10 of those points can be earned by voting someone else up.
Read here for more information, or like you said, do a search on the forum since this has been asked many times.
