GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) en España es un bachillerato elemental, más o menos. En los EE.UU. , a highschool diploma or possibly what is known as a G.E.D. - Graduate Equivalency Diploma.

Woot? I thought you got a highschool diploma when you were 18, you get your GCSE when you're 15! - rabbitwho, Jan 16, 2012
I made the answer bold just in case someone reading it doesn't speak Spanish. - rabbitwho, Jan 16, 2012

While you are at it, what kind of school (high school, college, university) do people go immediately after the ESO? Seems the years in middle and high school in US and Spain are different. - JazSpanish, Jan 16, 2012
Bachillerato (2 años). Instituto de Educación Secundaria (el mismo que donde se estudia la ESO). - Cordobesa, Jan 17, 2012
