It would be in the sense of, "I have no minors right now in college", similar to "so far"

MUCHAS GRACIAS!

Would not currently (en este momento, actualmente) work in this context?

My vote is for hasta ahora or hasta el momento.

I agree this is the best option in this context. - Gekkosan, Jan 14, 2012

Por ahora/hasta ahora significan lo mismo.

Same in English.

For now/until now/ for the moment...

There is a subtle difference between for now and until now. - gringojrf, Jan 14, 2012

I would say "por ahora".

Hasta ahora means until now or up to now. But if your oldest has graduated and your youngest is still in high school then hasta ahora doesn't work. You don't have a child in college right now.

No tenemos hijos en universidad por ahora. Pero en dos años más entrará nuestro hija a la Universidad de Guatalajara.

We don't have children in college right now. But in two more years our daughter will enter the university of Guadalajara.

I like this option, but it's not the best for this context. - Gekkosan, Jan 14, 2012
