Stowing baggage

Question

Hola "stowing baggage" puede ser traducido al castellano como "estiba de equipaje". Porque yo lo puse como: equipaje de bodega y fue rechazado. A quien pueda ayudarme desde ya muchas gracias

Hello! You may have noticed that the verb "stow" is translated differently depending on the usage, which in this case means to put away basically, if you are referring to luggage or the like. So, to stow one's baggage would be something like: "Guardar el equipaje..."

I think estibar is correct. Remember we started with ships and ports and captains and stowing cargo and baggage. Then along came airplanes and borrowed words from the jargon of ships. Airports, captains (pilots are captains) and stowing baggage.
