Is everyone going to the New SpanishDict ?
I looked at the new SpanishDict site and was wondering if you just move your same account over there or will there be two sites?

I must admit, my first impressions are...........its horrible!!!! But then again, I don't like change lol. No doubt it will grow on me. Until I'm forced there though, I will remain here with the old format.
I'm on it right now and I like it so far. If I may be so bold as to make a suggestion... don't avoid it simply because you're not used to it. If we don't test it out then how will we be able to find (and tell the admins about) any bugs there might be?
Don't forget everybody to press the prnt scrn button on your keyboard and paste into an image file and take lots of screenshots so we'll never forget teh "good old days"
I love the new one though
Especially the grammar section wow!
Hi all,
I like the change; it's very healthy and chalenging. Any way, anyone may face some problems until he/she get used with the new design ...
I liked the new thing add to the Conjugate section, is that, in the search box, you can now insert the infinitive form of the verb or the conjugated one ...
Very nice ...
Thanks ...
Woah! They are super fast with fixing things! I sent in some feedback about the post layout (I'm sure others did as well) and now the "post info." is on the bottom. =D

I like it, but I always tend to like new changes. ![]()
I still have a lot of looking around to do though, but I see that the new lessons are finally available to everyone.
I do think that this stuff should be on the bottom of the post, though. It is a bit annoying on the top. >.<

Like others, change is a strange thing. I do think with helpful feedback and a willingness to try something new, the new spanishdict will be user-friendly in no time!!
Thanks to all that have been a part of the new look!!
Abrazos
I love it! I've done some of the quizes in the grammar section. Just wonderful. Usually have trouble with changes but this seems to be much better than the old one. Still, it will take time to get used of it but my bar of Chrome is already filled with fast buttons of Spanish Dict, the new style...
I didn't even notice this! =)

Dont mess with success.
I haven't even been to the new site and just from the comments I don't like it.
I need the á é í ó ú ü ñ ¿ ¡ bar as I can't get these easily any other way.
I dont use smileys but many people do. And to have to know the shortcuts. Come on!
I'll go look but I will stay here as long as a can with the old site.
I would like a little more infomation please about what members do now. Do we get changed over automatically? (I am permamently signed in) Will the old SD site still be available, because judging by some of the comments I've read through some members are saying they will stay with the old site. It may not be possible.
Also there is some confusion re which new site as the first post I looked at was posted in August 2009
There is something new. Look at the Spanish grammar under Learn. Click on that and tons of new lessons will open. Take a look. These are the new practice lessons. They are great and we have hundreds of new lessons and tests. ![]()
Ok,, It's under learn and select Spanish grammar
Tried to go, didn't work. Guess I'll stay here until this, like me, becomes obsolete.
Traté de ir al nuevo sitio, no me sirvió. Supongo que me queda aquí hasta que, como yo, se haga anticuado.
Como dijo Gaius Valerius Catullus:
Frater, ave atque vale. Saludos y adiós, hermano.
I like the new look of the new site, but I will have to agree with some of you. I will be staying with the old format because of the way the forum is set up and I like how I can see my points in the corner of the page. I was on the new one, but when I did the flashcards I lost around a 1000 points due to it saying I was not logged in and I was! So...I will stick with the old!
I still liked the old one. but I will adapt to the new ![]()
