In english we measure horses in hands althought we do use meters too. So if a paerson says a horse is 16hands its the same as saying 160cm. What do Spaniards say?

In Spain, as in all European countries, except England, horses are measured in metres. Yous say 1.60m . or 160 cm.

A 14.2 h.h is approx 147 cm, a 15.2 h.h approx 157 cm , not exact, but near enough to work well.
