Can you follow another member's questions or answers?
Okay, I think we can all agree that there are certain SD members who are simply superb at explaining things about Spanish grammar in a way that transforms them (the grammar issues) from muddy to clear as crystal. (One such member is writing a grammar book, I hear... I cannot wait to get my hands on that!)
I was wondering if there is a way, other than checking their profile page everyday (which would be a lot of work and a little bit stalkerish to my mind), to see if they have answered a question or written a reference article? Sort of like the "watch this question" button... only you would get an email letting you know he/she made a post.
Just a thought. ![]()

This is a very good question and suggestion. There could even be a rewards system when somebody is being 'followed'!
You appear to have already figured out the answer. No. "Following a thread" is only available to the person who originates and would, in any event, not cover comments on threads. The only recourse is to visit the person's profile. Ignore the listing on the primary page (which includes only those posts that were popular or voted up or some such meaningless measure) and go to the page of all posts.
Samdie is correct. If you want to see his answers, go to his profile page [Click on Users under the More drop-down tab from the main menu at the top of the page. Then search for the person and click on their name.]
Under Latest Activity you will see a QUESTIONS ANSWERED section. Click on the more offering to the right of the section. You will then be able to view that person's answers. ![]()
The only way to check if anyone answered ur question is to look through your email. There is no other way.Sorry
