To pick it out of thin air

Hi guys, I was wondering how to say "to pick it out of thin air" in Spanish. I found this in a dictionary (below) but it is different to what I need.

to vanish o disappear into thin ~ esfumarse, desaparecer

Or

¿Esto de dónde lo has sacado?
