Thank you Nelson and Kiwi:) Cogumela taking over Marshal's thread!

This is what happens when we say here in Spain: never ever in my life, no way at all, no thanks, nooooooooooooo, not gonna happen....like when I said I am not hosting chats any more, and cogu said , I am NOT correcting any more threadsraspberry

So I was talking to Cogumela the other day and telling her that Marshi's thread would have to be closed...and she said, weeeeeeeeeeeeeell

Soooo, that means she is taking over again, jeje, I did tell her, hey, you are tripping again...and she just said, hey, look who is talking. raspberry

:::sigh:::

I would like to thank Nelson and Kiwi who took the thread over for a while and did a wonderful job. grin

And I would also like to mention Drvicente who is correcting the Palabra del Día and has been doing so for MONTHS now! We owe you , Vicentesmile

I learn so much from doing word of the day! This is where I take the opportunity to challenge myself and try out new constructs, or just play around with words following a gut feeling rather than use 'safe' sentences that could easily be taken from a text book and just tweaked a little.

When I receive the corrections, it really gives me a deeper understanding.

Soooooooo, thank you so much to everybody who gives up their valuable time to help us poor lost souls trying to learn this beautiful language of yours grin

Our correctors are the best. It takes a lot of time to go over these games and challenges looking for errors (well in my case they don't have to look farwink ) and I just can't thank them all enough.

I really, really want to thank all those who give of their time and knowledge and correct our efforts. I really like the 'words of the day' because, if you are to old to go to school there is very little opportunity to try out your writing. If I have to write to a real person in Spain, obvioulsy, I go for the simplest sentences in the hope of making things clear and correct. On 'word of the day' I can try to use all the things I'm learning. Vicente, Kiwi, Raul Spaniard, Heidita, Cogumela, Nelson and Gintar an all others who help, thank you from my very heart for all the help you give me!

friendly heart

Thank you Cogumela for coming back, and thank you to everyone who has ever moderated any of the threads. Nothing can be compared to having your sentence reviewed by an actual person- when doing a workbook for anything but the simple sentences, you are always left wondering if the way you did the sentence was wrong, or just a different way of doing that is still correct.

I still think that if we had enough volunteers, the idea of offering our current correctors a day off at times with someone else taking over for that day- maybe there are people who would do be willing to do it one day a week to give the regular corrector a day off. I am not sure we have anyone who would be willing, but I know it has to be difficult to do it day after day on end, and I think maybe there would be more volunteers if it did not have to be every day, just on occasion.

Anyway once again thank you Cogumela, and thank you everyone else.
