In a homework question, it says that these people are from Inglaterra. I know that this means England, but I need to know the nationality.

Hi, Inglaterra is England, therefore they are English, ingles in Spanish.

You can be British i.e. from Gran Bretaña, if you are from England, Scotland (Escocia) or Wales (Gales) , but if you call a Scot or a Welshman English you might get a bad reaction.

the people may have been described as being from england but their true nationality must be unknown. If the article said they were english - then this would indicate their nationality
