This is the place I was talking about. Este es el sitio sobre el que estaba hablando. Is that a correct English to Spanish translation?

Yes.

Or:

Este es el sitio del que (les) hablaba.

And the 2nd sounds much better to me (but I will defer to a native speaker). - samdie, Jan 8, 2012
The second one is used more often... maybe that's why. :) - chileno, Jan 8, 2012

Thanks guys but I am a bit confused as to why you put les in brackets

Este es el sitio del que (les) hablaba

"that I was talking anout" / "that I was telling them about" (not much real difference in meaning). - samdie, Jan 8, 2012

.. este es el sitio de web de que hablé.

This is only another suggestion, depending on if you used to talk a lot about it, or if it was a single convversation, now over and done with?

Sobre may indicate that you were speaking on it, rather than about it, but I'm not sure about this. I'm hardly ever sure about anything.

One might as well enjoy all the possibilities! .. estaba hablando sems ok too.. I have seen sitio de web used very often for internet site.
