Frases comunes, for Spanish learners 9, Choose one and post a sentence.
I have been reviewing my "everyday phrases", and thought I would share them with you.
Some of these you may find here in the "phrasebook" some you may not.
These are all taken from everyday speech,not from a book, and are all Spanish of Mexico.
I am not going to suggest that I can define the rules for these, they are what we use here in everyday language. These are the kind of thing you will hear as you move around in the Spanish speaking world ( At least in Mexico)
In my notes these are in no particular order so I just take them as they are in my notebook. This group is very ordinary
The challenge: post a sentence ( or two) with the expression of your choice and see if you understand and use it correctly- Questions for clarification,
ONE sentence per post, please!
Post in English and Spanish!
1) En la actualidad.............At present.
2) En este momento ........At this time or moment.
3) Lo digo en serio.............I mean it.
4) En gran parte................To a large extent.
5) ¿Para qué es esto?.......What is this for?.
6) Te lo agradezco ...........I thank you for it.
7) No te preocupes...........Don't worry.
8) No importa/ Dá igual.....Never mind.
9) Quesque.................... .I suppose- supposedly- used in a cynical way
10) No me importa / Me dá igual......I don't mind.

I suppose I should get a life, but practicing Spanish on SD is so much more fun.
