Can anyone tell me if my homework assignment is correct

Question

I'm working on Ser vs Estar in my Spanish 3 class and the assignment is pretty simple, I just keep over thinking my answers so I would just like to know if I did the assignment correctly so I can calm myself.

Assignment instructions: Los estudiantes presentan una obra de teatro, y hoy es la primera noche. Para saber cómo estuvieron las cosas, completa estas frases con el imperfecto de ser o estar, según el contexto.

The words that are bolded are my answers.

1. Está las siete
2. El teatro está abierto
3. Los actores ya están allí
4. Todos los actores son estudiantes
5. Ellos están muy nerviosos
6. El escenario es muy bonito
7. Mucha gente está sentada en el teatro
8. La obra es argentina
9. Es una obra muy original
10. La interpretación es muy interestante
11. Los papeles son difíciles
12. El público está muy entusiasmado

I think you got the ser vs estar thing nailed. I would say that only the first one is wrong. Time is by definition expressed with ser.

Besides that, the instructions say that your answers need to be put in the imperfect tense. Right now they're in the present.

I think all of them are correct, except for the first one. "Ser" is the verb used with time.

Whoops! I didn't realize the instructions said to use Imperfect. In that case, you used the right verb in each of them except the first one...you just need the change them all to the right tense. - Zoochick3, Jan 5, 2012

Since homework is not allowed to be answered or checked as far as I am aware, I'll give you some tips to checking the usage of ser or estar.

Estar is used for Position Location Action Condition Emotion

Ser is used for Description Occupation Characteristics Time Origin Relationship
