Well done Marsh, looks good to me. Btw I'm away for a long weekend (it's Friday here already) so I won't be around to help much if at all :( Have fun! :) - Kiwi-Girl, Jan 5, 2012
Would "...y las mantengo en la casa." also work? Anyone? :) - cristalino, Jan 5, 2012

There are many more candles on my birthday cake than I would like.

You can light a thousand candles from one candle and not diminish the light ,

so it is with love.

(On the odd occasion we have blackouts in my mountains. I always end up saying, "Damn it - where did I put those candles!" )

Despite my wife always being afraid that our house is going to burn down some day, in several rooms she has candles that she lights every night.

Similiar to the comment I wrote on a thread Tuesday, I need to work on that type of trigger for subjunctive (it is always clear once pointed out, but not until it is pointed out). - Stadt, Jan 5, 2012

I hate candles not made of wax, and do not burn well.

In my parent's apartment they have to use battery operated candles and the atmosphere isn't quite the same as that with the real thing.

I was in a friend's wedding where wax from the candles began falling on the bridesmaids in big chunks.
