spanish translation for "mixing colors"

Question

I am translating colors and shapes for a pre-school class. One of the choices is "mixing colors" . Just need that phrase.

or

Mixing color = Mezclar/mezclando colores (title of a subject in class)

Depends of the context.

It depends a bit on the context

colores para mezclar - mixing colours (as in - colours for mixing)

or

cuando estás mezclando los colores (when you are mixing the colours)

and there's bound to be others - feel free to add more info or some context to your question if neither of these work for you
