When do you use revisar and do you ever use chequeo or is that Spanglish?

Chequeo is used in medical terms. When you do tests in a hospital to see how you are, you should use "chequeo". And yes, this word comes from the english word checkup, You can not use "chequeo" like a verb "chequear", even if you read it on internet, it is wrong

In Chile that spanglish "chequeo was institutionalized (adopted) when I was a kid. But it is/was used only for medical check-ups (chequeo médico)
