New boyfriend = Te amo siempre. Old boyfriend = Te quiero siempre. New husband= Pienso que te quiero hoy. 5 years married = te tolero. 10 years married = Te odio. 20 years married = Voy a matarte.

Just kidding. But in Mexico Te amo is only used in family and long relationships. Otherwise its Te quiero.

Te amo = family? Only man and wife right? - jeezzle, Dec 28, 2011
man and wife but other family as well. parents and children. Fiances as well. Maybe longterm boy/girl friends. - gringojrf, Dec 28, 2011
