Does "por siempre" exist?

I thought "forever" is "para siempre" in Spanish. But then, in the song Contigo by Maite Perroni, there was a line in which she uses "por siempre". Is it correct? If so, what does it mean? Please help.

No temas porque tendrás por siempre mi amor para protegerte.

According to the rae:

para siempre = Por todo tiempo o por tiempo indefinido. Me voy para siempre

por siempre = Perpetuamente o por tiempo sin fin. Por siempre sea alabado y bendito
