Time Zones - Update

Question

First of all.....Happy New Year!!

When I first posted this, I had been on SD for about 4-5 hours and noticed the shift in participants and responses depending on on where you are in the WORLD. It was about 1:00 in the morning here and I could sense the fall off of USA members and the awakening of those in Eurore and other parts of the world and is struck me just how internationa SD is. A credit too its influence!! So for all of you who responded, thank you, and the next time your connected with the SD family, take note of the time and from where the reponse came from. It is most interesting

I've found it interesting how "international" SD is so thought I"d throw this out. Probably has been done before but.....just list your location, date, time, temperature (C or F) from where you are responding. Add something interesting if you would like.

I guess half the world considers 28 deg C as 'warm'... in the last 20 or so years the coldest temperature we've ever had was 23, so anything in the 20s is 'cool'. - mathslover, Dec 28, 2011

North Carolina USA 12-28-11 2:10 AM 40F. The rain has finally cleared out and the gusty winds have died down. Now it is clear, calm and just a bit chilly. The moon has long since set, leaving a dark, star-studded sky, but earlier I observed a beautiful sight in the Western sky. The bright evening star Venus shone just above the horizon as the waxing crescent moon floated over her.

Something interesting? Our friend was down in the street working on the "Rockin New Years Eve Show" as he does each year. He just sent a close up pic of Justin Bieber, which is of no interest to me. I'm sure the under 20 club will be thrilled though.
