I know that you can say junto as in Quiero estar junto a tior juntos as in Estaban juntos but what would happen if the person speaking was female or if all the subjects were female? Would we us junta or juntas? Are these forms correct?

Junto is both an adjective and an adverb. When it is used as an adjective, it changes with gender and number. When it is used as an adverb, it doesn't.
