They come in all sizes and forms but what makes the best dictionary for you.

  • Recognizes Conjugates (English and spanish)
  • Examples of usage
  • English and Spanish translations for examples
  • Synonyms and Antonyms
  • Idioms for words
  • There's an app ( multiple platforms)
  • Free
  • Voice responding ( Future of dictionaries)
  • Links to the phrasebook
  • Linking words in the definition
  • Links to the word of the day if the word has been the word of the day

Everyday the technology is advancing. What is the futuristic dictionary? What should the future bring to dictionaries. We have come from big book - pockect size - digtal - phone size - ****Next***?

Well I checked out that dictionary but I can't say I liked it much.

Check out what makes ours great: Type "cuenta" into both search engines and what do you get?

Yours has a few things, namely "caer en la cuenta" = to realize and dar a cuenta to give on account

But you see how it is missing "darse cuenta de"?

Really what's more said "Me caí en la cuenta de........" or "me di cuenta de........."?

Ours is quick, easy, important parts bolded, links to phrasebook underneath..... and the verbs are all conjugated on the bottom. Aside from the RAE this is only dictionary I use (aside from my physical dictionaries).

But to each their own I guess.

Now try "querer" in both dictionaries, yours has tons of typos and stuff like this: hacer ALGO queriendo to do STH deliberately, do STH on purpose . What is STH? Something? It doesn't even list "sin querer" for accidentally. That's what's great about ours, you can type in a word and see how it is used.
