Use the Word of the Day in a complete sentence that best exemplifies one of its definitions. Please provide both the Spanish and the English version and vote for other sentences that you like. The two best sentences (the most voted and the one selected by the mod and the thread owner) will be chosen to be used as the example sentences for the Word of the Day 30 days later based on votes and correctness. ********************************************************************************* Remember, you may NOT use a translator. Do not use subject pronouns in Spanish

Antes que llegaron los Reyes Magos, José había tenido algunos vacacíones decepcionantes, a los hoteles no les gustaban las mujeres con el embarazo tan adelanto como el de María, y la pareja había tenido muchos problemas con ángeles, que hablaban en voz alta. Until the thre Kings arrived Joseph had had a disappointing holiday, the hotels had not been keen on highly pregnant ladies, like Mary, and the couple had had a lot of trouble with angels who spoke in loud voices. Once the Threee Kings arrived everything changed for the better and Joseph realized that something marvellous had happened.
