I think this would translate to: Have you lost it? (like, lost your mind?)
Son is knocking down a stopsign, dad catches him. ¿Has perdido la razón. hijo?

Correct. Kind of formal though.
It he was my kid, I'd just say "¿Te volviste loco, hijo?"

My teacher said today "Has perdido la mente"? and I wanted to say ""Has perdido la razón" but I couldn't remember it. I fear she may be teaching some Spanglish. Does "Has perdido la mente"? work?
