Aterrar - strange definition

Just to let those in charge know, the English SD dictionary definition of aterrar is rather strange:

to keep the land on board?

  • I was just wondering what that meant? Maybe it means something in nautical terms that I haven't come across? or maybe it's an error. wink

Thanks AntMexico smile The Spanish is good, it's the English found in the dictionary here on SD that seems weird je j.

Gracias AntMexico. El español es bueno, es el inglés que se encuentra en el diccionario aquí en SD que me parece extraño.
