Assuming that you have very little experience: try doing one or two lessons from this website or www.learnspanish.com every night with 100% focus. Take notes and ask (yourself) critical questions while going through the material. Make sure every lessons ends with some practicing or else you'll forget. Ask more experienced people, for example on this forum, to proofread your attempts to write in Spanish. Make it a habit to memorize the meaning of every new Spanish word that you hear. Once you get better, start to read books, listen to radio/tv/music in Spanish to get more fluent in using the language.

Be patient and see mistakes as opportunities to increase your understanding. Oh and make sure it stays fun.
