"Cinephile" not in SpanishDict
Why is "cinephile" not included as a translation of "cinéfilo"? It's a very common usage in the U.S.

Not common? It's the most common word I know to describe a person who loves film...except perhaps "movie buff" (which is two words!).
Your competition has it: http://translate.google.com/?hl=en#en|es|cinephile
And it's in various, commonly used online English dictionaries: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/cinephile and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinephilia

Not that common. I had to do a double-take. I've never heard the word before, though it's obvious what it means. It's not in my English computer dictionary, either. It's difficult to include all words in all dictionaries. That's why I have many.
, just like Phish phans call themselves Phishheads. That doesn't mean you'll find Phishhead in every dictionary.
