A Present Perfect Question
How would I say, I have eaten it, in spanish?
This is my guess.
"Yo he comido lo."
Or would it be.
"Yo lo he comido."
Thanks for any help in advance. ![]()

First it would depend on what you ate. If you ate something like a "manzana" or a "hamburguesa" you would use "la". If it was "fideo" or "queso" you would use "lo". Next the "lo" or "la" would never come after the past participle "comido" in any circumstance. Also, in most cases you would want to drop the pronoun "yo". This would leave you with: "Lo/La he comido".
Also, remember in parts of Spain and the rest of the Spanish speaking world the preterite tense is often used in place of the present perfect. For example: "No bebiste nada" is used instead of "No has bebido nada". In central Spain (especially Madrid), the opposite is true.
It does not say on the site.
(yo) La he comido. I would assume you would use 'la' in place of 'lo' since you have not specified what you have eaten, so just use 'la' because food (comida) is feminine in Spanish. Anyone, please correct me if I'm wrong.
