The bus is a "combi" I think... so what does this mean?

Hi Saphire. There is a Peruvian soap opera called "Al Fondo Hay Sitio", I don't like it but it's so popular in some Shouth American countries. So when the man said this he really mean

This is so funny because when the bus is crowded, the conductor says: Go to the back because -there is a place (there are spots) in the back-.

He thinks is funny because he got a connection between the soap opera´s title and the situation in the bus.

I hope you can understand, my English is not good enough so corrections would be great. Good luck.

Something like: "this is funny because when the bus is full, the conductor says: Go to the back, there is room in the back"
