Looking for a room in Madrid!

Question

I have no idea if this is the place to ask this question, but you seem like a nice, helpfull bunch of people, maybe one of you can help me.

I'm going to study in Madrid for half a year starting in February, and I'm looking for a room there. Ideal would be an room in a student place, and preferrably between the city centre and the university.

I hope someone can help me, because finding a place in a foreign country is quite hard.

Actually, it was just the opposite in my experience. Just use http://www.fotocasa.es/ and there you go! It's the same site I used, very easy, and for the criteria you are looking for, it will be even easier.

Hello, I have read your question. So, I have a free room in my house which I could rent to you. Private areas: your room and a bathroom Shared areas: kitchen, living room, and my small library Services available: Internet, all the bed clothes, as well as the bathroom clothes, and kitchen devices.
I work as an engineer in Madrid, and I live with my husband (we do not have children). I am 32 year old. I have a small dog.
It would not be the first time that I rent to English people, and the experience was good. If you are interested, please let me know as soon as possible! Regarding to the price, we can talk after, because if are interested we can reach a good agreement. Nevertheless, the only negative point that I have to tell you is that my house is 30min from city center, but we have good public transports (I use them every day!).
