Mystery Picture 8: What do we call this object?

Everybody invited!! No Spanish native speakers THIS TIME

I saw an object serving the same purpose as this one inside a supermarket today. Its name called my attention, it was smaller than this one but the purpose was the same ...first you need to guess what is was there for and what its name was.
