'No pierda' or 'No pierdas'?

Is this sentence I heard in the Mexican soap opera Sortilegio correct? : No pierda la fe Señora, no la pierda. Shouldn't be 'No la pierdas'?

You are correct for the informal command,
No la pierdas.
But the formal command is
No la pierda.
Referring to una Señora, the formal command would likely be used.
Sometimes the 's' sound at the end of a word disappears, though.
