What does Berrinchar means?

Although this word is not listed in the Oxford Spanish Dictionary, the work "berrinche" is. Because "berrinche" means tantrum, I think a good guess as to the meaning of this word would be "to throw a tantrum." An example for the use of the word "berrinche" would be: "Si le digo que no, le hace un berrinche." If I tell him no, he throws a tantrum.
