¡Cállate! -- Be quiet!

But I'm only a beginner... wait for others to answer and I am sure they will provide you with many other options.

There are definitely better ways to train a dog to be quiet :) - FELIZ77, Dec 19, 2011

Muy facil. Le diré sólo cuanto que estoy ganando y va a morir riendo.

Very easy. I will just tell him how much I earn and he will die laughing.

You can use "it" for "him" but it doesn't sound well.

With dogs (and some other animals) I think it becomes conditioned response after a while... so most words or phrases should work, as long as the dog "makes the connection"... I would suggest basta as it's short and sweet! raspberry

[or you could always contact Cesar Millan's people for more advice: se habla español]wink
