Actrices In the Dictionary?
I was wondering if you knew how you could put "actrices" in the dictionary. I tried to look it up, but I could not find it. I know it is a word, plural of actriz.
Thank you!

I think you will find that most dictionaries follow the same convention when it comes to dealing with nouns. Adding separate entries for every single plural noun would add unnecessarily to the length and space requirements for the dictionary. Instead, we normally find that the singular form of the noun is listed under the main heading.
This is not an unreasonable method, considering that the rules for forming plurals (in both English and Spanish) are fairly straight forward. For example, words that end in "z" are pluralized by changing the ending to "ces." In most other cases, the rules are fairly similar to what is typically seen in English (i.e. either add -s or -es depending on the noun ending). Remembering these simple rules of pluralization will make looking up entries in the dictionary that much easier.
Unfortunately not all the plurals are listed in the dictionary and this is one of them. Hopefully in the future we may be able to resolve these anomalies.
