How do I say "rough draft"?

How do I say "rough draft"?

The only translation I have found is "borrador" but that means eraser. Someone else told me to use "copia conceptual" and was wondering if that's acceptable or is there a different way to say it.

ex: Sam will revise his rough draft for clarity.
(example is related to writing assignments/reports)

Any help is appreciated.

I think borrador is the word you are looking for.

Words often have more than one meaning wink
