¿Qué es un semana tipica en tu vida?

-My professor says it is something wrong with the qué part. But I cannot seem to catch it.

I think the problem is with your choice of the word "qué." Rather, the question should be "¿Cómo es una semana típica en tu vida?

You're not asking WHAT the typical week is (even though that may "fly" in English). You're really asking what a typical week is LIKE, or HOW the week is. It's just like asking someone "¿Cómo eres?" to mean "what are you like?" when literally you're asking "HOW are you, as a person?"

You should use "¿Cuál es una semana típica en tu vida?

Or Cómo es una...

Maybe. I think "Cómo es una semana..." is more likely; "how", rather than "which" - Gekkosan, Dec 12, 2011
Either of those will be OK. Cuál or Cómo... :)\ - chileno, Dec 12, 2011

I think "un semana" should be "una semana"... I also think you should start the sentence with cual instead of qué. Qué is more used for asking for a definition or meaning of something, and cual is used to ask which or what of so many things are the one you are looking for.
