Sharm el Sheikh, divers' paradise

Question

As you might have noticed, I am back

I dived in Egypt this time, in Sharm el Sheikh, a paradise for divers. Sharm is situated in the Red Sea and the life and corals are unique in that part of the world.

We went to a very nice hotel, very Egyptian, lots of food and lots of nice people I was surprised though, I thought everybody was going to speak English like our wonderful lovely, but I couldn't have been more mistaken. Even people with pretty good English had a very strong accent. Those of you who have heard lovely, wow, that was quite a difference, trust me, her English is perfect

Our hotel room looked really nice and this was one of the bars, hey, they have really good beer in Egypt

And then of course the dives, we did two dives a day, taking a boat and going to different reefs, one more beautiful than the next, really amazing.

I have never seen such enormous "gorgonias"

I went to Sharm before on a lads' holiday and we had the chances to do either diving or quad biking in the desert. Diving looks amazing, and I'd have loved to have done both, but we went with quadbiking because it was easier and quicker to arrange.

Maybe when I'm older and have a bit more time and money, I can go back and do all the things I couldn't before. Looks like you had a great time Heidi!

Nice pictures, it seems you had a good time. Diving seems to be an interesting activity, it'd be great to share a few things sometime and give information about that. For example, is it a sport for everyone, is there any training, etc.

The video is amazing and very relaxing. Between the music and looking at the fish, it could calm even the most hyper person down!

This video was filmed in two more areas, I hope you like it, very calming

there was an area of "soft coral" (coral blando) and you can see that reef full of fish!
