"My spouse got up early to see the eclipse"
Commenting on the recent lunar eclipse, I want to say:
My wife woke up early to see it. I was asleep. She said that she loved it.
I wrote:
Mi esposa madrugó para verlo. Yo estaba durmiendo. Ella dijo que te encantó.
How does that look? ![]()

Ella dijo que te encantó.
I would say that the subject pronoun "ella" is unnecessary here; also, you have a problem with agreement here with the expression "te encantó" (should be "le").
It seemed like in this case, the first-person pronoun was necessary for clarity. Would you agree? Otherwise it would be unclear who "estaba" referred to.
