Anybody mind proofreading my short conversation please?

I think I nailed it for the most part. But I would like so feedback on mostly the grammar. Please and thank you and may God bless.

Lucas: Bienvenidos, me llamo Lucas, soy su camarero hoy. David: Gracias Señor ¿Cómo está usted? Lucas: Muy bien gracias, ¿y usted? David: muy bien, ¡tengo mucha hambre! Lucas: ¿Cuántos personas? David: solo me Lucas: Usted sigue me por favor David: si, el restaurante está muy limpia y magnifico Lucas: gracias, ah ¿Qué bebida quiere usted? David: yo quiero un agua por favor. Lucas si Señor, un momento. David: ah gracias, ¿Qué es su sopa de hoy? Lucas: mi sopa de hoy tiene pollo y camarones. David: para el plato principal quiero un plato de camarones y papas fritas. Lucas: Si pero el cocinero dije me nosotros no tenemos más camarones. David: yo entiendo, quiero un plato de bistec. Lucas: si hm quince minutos David: bueno !la comida es rico! Lucas: ¿quiere pastel después de su plato principal? David: no no, porque no tengo más hambre. Lucas: si gracias, Señor ¿Cómo va a pagar? David: pago con dinero efectivo, ah pago con mi tarjeta de crédito. Lucas: gracias, ¡hasta mañana! David: si, ¡adiós!

I would offer like to offer you the following suggested corrections:

General: Where I have highlighted the initial letter of the first word of a sentence ..it is because it should be capitalised. Yo and other personal pronouns are not necessary since the verbs are already conjugated to indicate to whom they refer. eg quiero = I want can only refer to first person singular ''I ''

Specific:

1 ¿CuántAs personas? Adjectives must agree with their nouns they describe/qualify in gender and number

2 I think you should say: Solo yo, Lucas (Solo me sounds wrong but I am not 100% sure about yo)

3 íSígame Ud, por favor! I think that you should use the imperative (command form) here unless you want to rephrase it as: ¿Le gustaría seguirme, por favor? o ¿Le gustaría acompañarme, por favor? = Would you like to follow accompany me, please?

4 Magnífico with an accent (tilde)on the í

5 I think this would be better expressed as: ¿Qué quiere (Ud )beber? or more commonly ::¿Qué quiere (Ud) tomar? (The personal pronoun ''Ud'' is not really necessary here but I am showing you where it would be placed if it were necessary)

6 You would never use un in this way (Sorry but ''un agua'' is wrong!) It would be better/correct to say; Quiero agua, por favor or you can also say: Quiero ''una botella'' de agua, por favor

7 Sopa del día = soup of the day It would be better to say: ¿Qué es la sopa del día? and (8) ''La sopa del día es ....''

9 This is optional You can use Quiero = I want but it is usually considered more polite to say: me gustaría .......etc...or Quisiera etc......= I would like. This is the conditional indicative

10 (context: ...pero el cocinero) dije me should be me dijo = He said to me

Chef is often just written as el chef so you could write: pero el chef me dijo...etc...Please see link to SpanishDict dictionary here: link text

11 No tenemos is sufficient No personal pronoun is necessary here (eg: nosotros).

12 (?) Do you mean ''hmmm'' when a person is thinking, please?

13 más is not correct here No tengo hambre = I am not hungry is better or Ya no tengo hambre. = I am not hungry any more.

14 ¿Cómo va a pagar? this would be understood but it would be better to say:

¿Cómo le gustaría pagar? o ¿Cómo quieres pagar?

You can also say: Voy a pagar con mi tarjeta de crédito o Quiero pagar con mi tarjeta de crédito. These sound more natural than simply pago which is correct Spanish but sounds a little brusque/sharp. This is only my personal view, others may of course disagree!
