the word "trying" plus a conjugation question

Hello again,
I am wondering how you would use the word "trying" en espanol.
Like for example, would you say "I am trying to learn spanish" as "Estoy entento a aprendo espanol."?
Another question would be, since I say "trying to learn", would aprender be conjugated or would it remain in the infinitive form?

you would say "Estoy trato de aprender español" It's one of those verbs that requires 'de'
& after a conjugated verb the next verb stays in the infinitive. I believe

sí es correcto. that is the progressive tense/gerand. ando/iendo . ando for AR verbs & iendo for IR verbs - Acelata, Dec 10, 2011
