When using the Present Perfect (antepresente) tense of the indicative mood:

yo he+pp

tú has+pp

ella.él, usted ha+pp

All three are just the present tense (indicative) of the auxiliary verb Haber.

Present perfect tense [pretérito perfecto compuesto]

The pp (past participle) in your example is: (Estar)

¿Cómo has estado [tú]?

It's just like saying the word "have" like, Have you visited the new house? Has visitado la casa nueva? I have seen that movie. He visto esa pelicula. Has he eaten this? Has comido esto?

He - I have (yo form) Has - You have (tú form) Hemos - We have (nosotros) Ha - he/she has (el/ella form) Han - They have (ellos)
