I have known lots of people by language exchanges sites but we always talk about the same thing like age, appearance, studies, pets, nationalities, hobbies and that's all. I want to practice with others imagining different contexts. So the next time I meet someone I want them use some pictures that I put in a website to imagine a situation and start talking about. What do you think about? Is it good idea?

Look the website http://lucynarniana.es.tl/Home.htm

All texts are first in English and then in Spanish. The website is still under construction.

I think role playing is a great idea esp with a picture to conjure up (to bring/imagine) some ideas.

Language conversations often 'die' when you don't have too much in common.

estoy seguro de eso (correct)

estoy seguro eso (incorrect)

You are right about this, ok, and you need to place anything after "estar seguro" and the object. I mean, you always need something to connect the sentence.

There isn't any difference between the two sentences and both of them are correct.

You are trying to get a rule for "que" and "de que" and I am afraid that there isn't any. They are the same in this sentence. Don't try to cling to any rule in this case. You will not be successful.

Is this a typo?

I can never understand the difference...por que... that which/that/why...none seem to fit?

the four porqués

Estoy segura que estás aquí por.....

Is it Estoy segura de que......?

Now I going to have to go look up queísmo/dequeísmo.... angry

What is the trick trick for deciding concerning eso? You substitute eso for the que clause.

estoy seguro de eso (correct)

estoy seguro eso (incorrect)

I think its a good idea, seems a tad tricky though. I noticed a few typos in the spanish piece though. I dont know if they were simply mistakes or you dont know how to say it.
