Quick pronunciation question

Question

I know that in Spanish, a sounds get pronounced together, so does that mean that 'va a hacer' would sound more like 'va-acer' or 'vacer' or would more a's be pronounced?

Yes, those "a" sounds run together. Va-acer would be a good way to write it.

Both of you are right.

Think what happens in English...

Both of you, come up with any word combination, in English, where the same situation is present, and most likely you will tend to say it correctly in some situation, whereas in other you would just splurt it out. right?

As a learner myself I would unhesitatingly stick to Va - a - acer. This can't be misunderstood. In my humbe opinion it's best to leave the shortening of words to the natives. They understand each other but may well fail to understand us.

Absolutely! If you want to sound like a native, stick to va-acer? The sound of words are pronounced together not only in Spanish, but in every language. You just don't notice the same issue in English because it is your first language, but it is all the same.
