Is there a difference in usage between naranja and anaranjado?
When speaking of the fruta, is it acceptable to call it naranja or anaranjado? What of the color, naranja or anaranjado?

I'm pretty sure they work both ways, but the proper way would probably be naranja for the fruit and anaranjado for the color...

I think that naranja and anaranjado can both be used for the colour - the fruit is naranja
Hi and welcome to the forum.
Naranja is the fruit and anaranjado is the color.
Naranja = fruit or color
anaranjado = orangy (that has shades/hues of orange color)
right?
