How Can I keep up with my Spanish???
Spanishdict keeps throwing in new vocabulary that I haven't learned yet. You could also say I am a little ahead of myself. I am also having trouble memorizing my conjugations. I don't want to go back lessons because the beginning is too easy and It starts to get hard a few lessons in. And how do I get the most retention in what I learned? I could do a lesson, take in some of the new vocab, do over the lesson tomorrow and struggle as if it's my first time. I need help.....

In addition to studying, start using your Spanish. Read, write, listen and speak as much as you can and as often as you can, everyday if possible. You can study all you want, but nothing reinforces and improves your Spanish as much as using what you learned in real life.

I relate new words to pictures by using adobe photoshop. I then jumble up the words so as not to get used to repetition. e.g. Use a picture of a house then repeat the picture with la casa imposed on it. With other free programs you can create slideshows and even add music. Reduce the gap in time between each picture and time yourself. It makes learning more exciting and fun. You can download pictures of just about anything on google. Hope this helps.
