How to say Step on?

What verb would I use to say "step on" as in "step on the balance, please." Right now I have "Pise (pisar) la balanza, por favor" Would this be correct? Thanks!

In this case we would say "Súbase a la balanza"
EDIT:
Pisar la balanza, could be posible too.
If you are going to be weighed ta the dorctor's, for example =Súbase a la balanza will be used.
If someone tell you to put a foot on the scale then = pise la balanza can be used.
