Hi Alicia!

Okay, so comer is a little something called an infinitive, the most basic form of a verb. It means "to eat".

Como has quite a few meaning, actually...context and accents are key in determining which form is being used.

"Como" means "I eat" -- it is the present indicative form of the verb "comer".

Then we have "como" meaning "like" or "as".

Cómo (or most often ¿Cómo?) means "How?"
