What is berdolaga?

I may be spelling this wrong. It is a green herb that looks like watercress to me, but is not so spicy. I am planning to use it tomorrow in a dip that calls for watercress. My Larousse and a Google search couldn't find anything, and I know it could be a local name here in Mazatlán. I would like to find out more before actually inviting people to eat it! Thanks, Dee

Thanks, Vernic, that was quick! I had not thought about the b-v thing. They often are transposed in translations. THANK YOU! Dee
